‘ Disappointing Response '
Red Cross Efforts A disappointing response has been met with by the Kaitaia Sub-Centre of the Red Cross Society in their call for materials for the overseas forces j and volunteers to help prepare them. So far no materials have been forth- ! coming and there have been no volunteers. A similar lack of enthusiasm has been evident in regard to the Ladies’ Home Nursing Class and unless some applications are received very shortly Red Cross officials say that the class will have to be abandoned.
