HARVEST FESTIVAL SERVICES Last Sunday a harvest festival service was held in the Kaitaia Presbyterian Church by the Rev. W. H. Nicholas, there being a large congregation present. On Monday evening the produce was disposed of at a social gathering held in the church hall. At Oruru and Fairburn, the Rev. A. J. Johnston conducted the harvest festival services, in connection with 1 the Methodist church work in the county. On Monday evening a pleasant time was spent by a good gathering in the Fairburn hall when produce was sold for church funds. At Oruru on Tuesday evening, a social hour was passed before the produce was disposed of.
