Annual Meeting of the Valley Cricket Club
The annual meeting of the Valley Cricket Club was held last Monday when there was a good attendance of members, the President, Mr. H. H. Thompson, occupying the chair. The following officers were elected for the coming season:— President—Mr. H. H. Thompson Committee—Messrs F. Panther, D. White, L. Foster, W. Thompson, H. Switzer, S. Edwards and officers. Secretary and Treasurer—Mr. J. W. Dawson Delegates to County Association— Messrs J. M. Dawson and F. Panther. It was decided if possible, to enter two senior teams and a junior team in the County competition this season.
