Unemployment Tax
In this issue the Unemployment Board announces that the next instalment of the General Unemployment Levy will become due on November 1. and tl)at on the same date the third instalment of the Emergency Unemployment Charge of Bd. in the £ on income other than salary or wages will also become due. Taxpayers who paid in advance the full year’s tax at the old rate of lOd. in the £ will receive before May 1 next, written notification regarding the adjustment of any amount overpaid.
