Ford Heads the list of Motor Vehicle Registrations
The figures showing the cars and trucks registration in New Zealand for the 9 months of the year and for Canada and the United States for the first 7 months of the year show the great popularity of the Ford motor vehicles in these countries. In New Zealand 25% of the cars registered were Ford and it is noteworthy that the Ford range includes two models made in England and that the next two cars on the list with 15% and 14% respectively of the registrations were English cars, In Canada 31% of the cars were Ford the next two makes being 22 per cent and 10 per cent. In United States Ford headed the list with 33 per cent followed by the next with 22 per cent and the next with 15 per cent. In commercial vehicle Ford heads the list with 25 per cent followed by other makes at 19 per cent. In Canada Ford has 39 per cent the next being 29% and the next only 8 per cent. In United States Ford has 38 per cent followed by 34 per cent and 11 per cent.
