School Flag The Taikawhana school now is the proud owner of a flag which will soon flutter from a 40-foot pole, which is to be erected in the grounds. Tennis Courts Plans are now afoot for the building of a tennis court in Omahuta on a piece of land in the vicinity of the school. Those responsible for the proposal are hopeful that the venture will prove a great success. Sowing Time “Spring time is sowing time.” A large area of maize is expected to be grown this year, as well as some large patches of potatoes. Women’s Institute Bazaar The Omahuta - Tutekehua Women’s Institute has decided not to hold its Christmas bazaar as arranged at their last meeting. A bring and buy will be held at a future Institute meeting instead.
