General Election
Wit’n the winding up of the Parliamentary session at the end of this week a crowd of fidgeting legislators who if during the last week they kept one eye on their parliamentary duties kept the other fixed on their constituencies, where political rivals were at work sapping and mining will be released to defend their threatened seats. The Prime Minister lias graciously allowed them a clear month for the job, which the public will doubtless think quite long-
enough, though the campaigners in scattered electorates like the Bay constituency, may not agree with mm. But the sooner the political turmoil is over the better.
