NORTHERN STOCK SALES The N.A. Farmers’ Co-op. report holding their monthly stock sales at Kaitaia, on Tuesday, and Broadwood on Wednesday. At Kaitaia there was a fair yarding, but only a small number of cattle were penned at Broadwood. Best beef cows made from £2 10/- to £3 5/-, killable sorts 30/- to £2 7/6, store cows 15/- to £1 2/-, 4-year-old steers, mixed colours, made from £2 10/- to £3 2/-, 3-year-olds, good colours, £3 3/-, 2-year-olds £2 to £2 15/-. Yearling heifers brought 15/- to £l. Weaner pigs made 18/-, store pigs £1 2/- to £1 6/-
