At the Theatre PRINCESS THEATRE, KAITAIA Friday and Saturday On Friday, tonight, and Saturday, tomonow night at the Princess, Kaitaia the leading feature in the programme to he screened is “The Champ” with Wallace Beery and Jackie Cooper in the star roles. The picture deals with the attempts of a former boxing champion to stage a “come-back” and of his final sacrifice for his son. Among the strong supports are “Mickey the Mouse” and “Flip the Frog” cartoons and Tilden the Tenuis Star, demonstrating tennis strokes. Wednesday The absorbing drama, “The Cheat” starring the international favourite Tallulah Bankhead will he screened on Wednesday. Sharing acting honours with the celebrated Tallulah is Irving Picliel, the distinguished character actor. The picture is from Hector Turnbull’s famous stage play. “The Cheat” is one of the most interesting stories seen on the screen in some time. There is a climax of compelling power and strength. This picture is recommended by the censor for adult audiences.
