Pukepoto School Sports

The Dominion Sport’s Ground, Pukepoto was the scene of much fun and gaiety when a happy gathering of parents, teachers and children assembled last Saturday afternoon, the occasion being the celebration of the breaking-up of the school for Christmas holidays. Under ideal weather conditions the sport’s programme and picnic was carried out favourably. Messrs Gracie, S. W. Masters, J. Morrison, J. Norman, T. Robson, W. Cameron, and A. Dallas were responsible for the programme. Mesdames Gracie, Sam Busby, Archie Morice, Miss Cameron and older girls handed round a tasty light lunch. Mr. Norman Matthews donated the sweets for the children which was thoroughly appreciated by the youngsters.
