Air Pageant During Holidays
On Sunday December 31st, Auckland Aero Club planes will be visiting the district, the landing ground being in Mr. Morrisons’s paddock at Pukopoto, On Monday, January Ist, Hew Year’s Day, the planes will be ,_at Cooper’s Beach, Mangonui. Displays will be given and passengers wilt also be taken on flights. While the planes are in the district, the first test for candidates for the “Herald” Aero Scholarship will be held. Full particulars regarding the entry for the scholarship, may be obtained from Mr. H. A. Timbers, Secretary for the Kaitaia Aero Club. Already some entries have been made in this district. Those who are considered the best in North Auckland will go to Auckland for further tests.
