KAITAIA GIRL GUIDES
The Kaitaia company of Girl Gumes celebrated their fourth birthday by a party in the Parochial Hall when a most interesting programme was given, and the supper table was graced with a birthday cake made by Guide Hollay decorated with four candles. Musical items were given by Misses C. Clarke and M. Wallace and Mr. J. Pearson, and three playlets by Guide members. The competitions were won by the Bluebell patrol and by Brownies Peggy Lewis and Audrey Johnston, and Myrtle Wallace, who had attended every meeting, was awarded an attendance prize. Service stars were presented to Audrey Bell and Guides Joan ston, Elsie Geard, Doreen Flinn, Myrtle Wallace, Anita Hooper, Gwen Johnston, vV insum Hollay, Pixie Fryer, Nancy Cade, Thelma Moynihan and Queenie Johnston.
