Mr. L. C. Ward, of Takahue, is visiting Whangarei. Mr. A. Hay, on the staff of the Bank of Australasia, Kaitaia, was married at Auckland on Monday. Mrs. B. W. Price, of Kaitaia, is making good recovery after her recent severe attack of pneumonia. Mrs. Berghan, Snr., of Ahipara, is in a low state of health since the fall she suffered recently. Sir George and Lady Richardson are visiting their son at Te Paid station. Miss James, who is to undertake a walking tour throughout the Dominion to advertise New Zealand goods, left Kaitaia on Wednesday for Pandora camp where she will start her long tramp.
