'VV/'ITH the approach of another Meat Export Season, we have to advise clients that the Moerewa Freezing Works will be re-opened early in December, or as soon as the new season’s stock becomes available. The freezing charges will be the same as last season. The whole-hearted support of the meat producers thoughout the North is absolutely necessary to secure such a turnover at the Moerewa Works as will maintain a good service and low freezing charges. The rates charged at Moerewa are exactly the same as at Southdown, or Horotiu, and are amongst the lowest in New Zealand. These rates can only be maintained by giving the Works a reasonably full season and it is to the advantage of every farmer having export stock for sale, to see that they do not go away from Moerewa.
