Puckey of Kaitaia, who has been on a six weeks’ holiday with her daughter, Mrs. G. Beatson at Wakefield, Nelson, leaves shortly on the return journey, visiting friends and relatives en route. The condition of little Leslie Matthews, the victim of the accident last Tuesday week, though greatly improved since his admittance to the Mangonui hospital, is still somewhat critical. Mrs. Matthews returned to Kaitaia last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. D.
