CLOSING KAITAIA GOLF SEASON Despite the adverse weather conditions, quite a number of players, including several visitors from neighbouring Clubs, were present at the Kaitaia links on Saturday, 24th, the official closing day of the Kaitaia Golf Club. Competitions played during the afternoon resulted as under : Driving Competition : Ladies—Miss Barriball ; Men —W. Christensen. Approaching Competition: Ladies— Mrs. Barriball ; Men—W. Berridge. Putting Competition : Ladies—Miss E. Christensen ; Men —C. J. Barriball. The Championship Cups and Trophies for competitions played during the season were presented by the president, Mr. T. S. McMillan.
