TOHEROA SOUP.
HEINZ REPRESENTATIVE INTERESTED. SAMPLE TINS SENT TO STATES. Considerable interest in the toheroa soup canned at the Unahi factory was evinced by a representative of the H. J. Heinz Company, the American firm which produces a large variety of tinned foodstuffs, who was in this district last week.
Two sample tins of the tinned soup which were given to the Heinz representative by Mr. T. J. Fleming, proprietor of the Awanui Hotel, are to be sent to the company’s American headquarters for examination.
