SPORTS AGAIN POSTPONED
CRICKET FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY The opening of both the bowling season and the cricket competitions had again to oe postponed last Saturday owing to the weather conditions. Although at the time of writing the outlook is still unfavourable, every endeavour will be made to open the bowling season officially this coming Saturday so that players can get into action on fine evenings.
Ihe following are the cricket fixtures for next Saturday Kaitaia v. Mangonui, at Kaitaia; Broad wood v. Herekino at Herekino ; Valley a bye. The Kaitaia second grade team will travel to the Valley.
