WHANGAREI RACES AT MAIR—7th AND 9th NOVEMBER. HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS available for return until nth November, 1929, will be issued to Whangarei from Opua, Okaihau, and intermediate stations on 7th and 9‘h November by trains due to arrive W hangarei not later than 12 noon each day. ON THURSDAY. 7th and SATURDAY, 9th NOVEMBER, usual 6.45 a.m, Opua—Whangarei train, also 9 10 a.m. Opua—Auckland Express will stop at Kensington Road Crossing (near Racecourse) to allow passengers to alight Usual 325 pm. Whangarei—Opua train will be delayed to leave Whangarei 518 p.m., Mair 5.42., Otiria 830 p. m., arriving Op' a 9.15 p.m. A train stopping where required will leave Otiria 825 p.m. (after arrival of 5.18 p.m, train from Whangarei) arriving Okaihau 9.40 p.m. For further particulars see handbills or enquire at stations.
