Stock Sale
There was a big yarding of cattle of all descriptions at the monthly sale conducted yesterday by the North Auckland Co-op. Prices generally were good, dairy-stock being in good demand, particularly good quality dairy heifers. Very little good quality beef was yarded, and all qualities of beef cattle continued in good demand, realising late rates. Steers showed a drop in price compared with the previous sales figures. Prices were as follows: Steers Three year-olds, up to £10; cow beef, up to £l2 ; store cows brought up to £7 and two-year-old store steers up to £6. Dairy heifers realised up to £9 los and dairy cows up to £B. A pen of yearling dairy heifers realised £5 I2s6d, while otheis sold from £3 up*
