Are The Women Grateful ?
What an opportunity for the women to praise science ! Is not the engineer working day and night to relieve the drudgery ot the home by sewing machines, chemical cleaners, cheap methods of washing, and labour-sav-ing devices of all kinds about the homes ? Does not the doctor and the chemist daily help woman to forget her so-called weakness in her fight for equality ? Does he not help her to keep thin, change the colour of her hair at will, and provide her with a complexion, and enable her to deceive the world as to her age ?
