Shortage of Shearers Sheep farmers in the Waverley and Wanganui districts are becoming concerned about the shortage of shearers. Usually there is no trouble in securing all the labour required, but this season the shearers have obtained positions on the unemployed works which are more steady and permanent, besides being less arduous.
