The Hospital Question
Meeting At Fairburn A well attended mseting of ratepayers in the Fairburn district was held in the FairburnKaiaka Hall on Thursday evening when several candidates for the Hospital Board spoke on the Hospital Question. Mr W Hoskin led off followed by Messrs Houston, Kitchen and Michie. The last three gentlemen spoke on lines already previously reported. Mr Hoskin favoured leaving matters as they stood at present. The present trend for hospital cvntralisation might render obsolete any scheme put forward at the present time to establish the main institution at Kaitaia. A vote of thanks was accorded the various speakers.
