Busy Building Period
A Thriving Township For some years past Awanui has made little progress in the erection of new business premises, but of late the township has gone ahead in a remarkable manner which makes one realise that Awanui has a wonderful future. When the waste land of the North becomes settled Awanui is destined to become a town of »o small size. At the present time several dwellings a're contemplated and some are in the course of erection ; a butchers shop and tea-rooms are almost completed alsb improveim nts to the w hai ves and the erection of a new one at
the Dairy Factory. Awanui will certainly forge ahead.
