The flag match was played on Saturday, the course being in a somewhat sodden condition owing to recent rains, the greens however were as fast as usual. The winners of the competition were ladies —Miss Nathan; men —T. Salvair. Afternoon-tea was provided by Misses Mona Puckey and Isabel Hansen. The Kaitaia Golf Club will officially close its season on Saturday, when a series of competitions will be played.
