The Stanton Bequest
Benefit to Library Funds
The Kaitaia Library has struggled along for years handicapped by the fact that funds were not sufficient to enable the Library committee to build up a store of books that would prove an asset to the reading public. Through the will of the late Mr W Stanton the Library funds were benefitted considerably and the first instalment of interest of the Stanton Bequest will be due to the Library at an early date. This money will be used by the committee to purchase new books of an educational value following the wishes of the relatives of the late Mr Stanton.
