PAR AN U l SPECIAL RATING AREA PROPOSED LOAN £2500 In the matter of the “local Bodies Loans Act 1926,” “The Local Govern- . ment Loans Board Act, 1926,” and the “Counties Act, 1920" and amendments thereof respectively, and in the matter of a Pi O-O'.ed Loan of £2500. The Mangonui Countv Council being desirous of raising a Special Loan of t£2500, and being unable to provide the necessary funds out of its ordinary revenue, and having obtained the sanction of the Local Government Loans Boaid to borrow the said sum of £2500, hereby pursuant to section 10 of the “Local Bodies Loans Act 1926” gives public notice as follows: (a) The particular purposes for which the loan is required is road formation, culverting and metalling of Paranui and Taylor's roads. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £'2500 and the proposed rate ot interest is (£6) per centum per annum. (c) The proposed security tor the said loan is to be a special rate of 6 2-3 d in the Pound sterling on the unim- . proved value of all rateable property in the said Paranui Special Rating Area of the Mangonui County. The provision for repayment of the loan » is a sinking fund of Three Pounds (£3) per centum per annum calculated on the amount raised, and the said loan is to be repayable twenty (20) years alter the date of raising the same. (d) No portion of the interest or sinking fund shall be paid out of loan money. Dated this 18th day of July 1928. ALFRED H. LONG, f. County Chairman. NOTICE OF DATE OF POLL ON THE ABOVE PROPOSAL I hereby give notice in pursuance of lection II of the “Local Bodies Loans Act 1926,” that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Paranui Special Rating Area being a portion of the Oruru Riding of the Mangonui County, will be taken on Friday the 17th day of August 1928 on the proposal of the Mangonui County Council to borrow the sum of £2500 for the puri ose. set out in the above notice of intent on to raise a Special Loan. The Polling Booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 6p m. and will be at the following place Paranui Public Hall County Office, Kaitaia. Dated this 18th day of July 1928. ALFRED H.
