Kerikeri Experimental Area
In reply to further representations made re starting work on the Kerikeri Experimental Area (Bay of Islands) the Minister of Agriculture states that through stress of work the Instructor of Agriculture in charge of the Auckland district was unable to put in hand work for which money was authorised last vear. Instructions have now been issued to the present Senior Instructor for the Auckland District to take this matter up and have work already decided upon put in hand at the proper time. For a commencement it is proposed to carry out small scale experiments on about ten acres, but this area will in all probability be extended if any success attends the operations on it.
