Five Hundred Drive
In Aid of Croquet Club Last night the members of the Kaitaia Croquet Club held another of their successful five hundred evenings. Nine tables were occupied and a pleasant time was spent by all those present. After the excellent supper Mr Munn in behalf of the Club presented the prizes. The winners were : Ladies: Miss A Adamson I; Miss Nathan, consolation. Men : Mr Mortlock I; Mr Pat Glynan, consolation. Mr Munn informed those present that at the next evening which would eventuate a fortnight hence the prizes for the first quarter would be presented and the positions of the various players posted up, thus those taking part in the competition would know their position.
