In the House of Commons Mr Ramsay McDonald, Leader of the Opposition, moved for inquiry into certain matters relating to copies ot ine Zujo,vieif letters gettl;ig : nff certain hands which used them for part}’ gain. He s-id the copy published by the Daily Mail had played a big part in the result of the last elections. Mr Baldwin said that the published copy of the letter had no effect upon the election. The Labour Government was defeated t fore the election, because it could not na ike up its mind what to do wi 1 the Communist Camp-
bell. Another effect against the Labour Government was its abortive treaty with Communist Russia.
