Arctic Expedition Italian Flight Project Commences In April The programme of Colon d lobile e Polar expedition is fixed as follows -The airship Italia will leave Rom? in April, bound for King’s Bay, Spitzbergen, via Venice, Vienna, Prague and Stettin. Colonel Nobile will use King’s Bay as his base, and hopes to make at least ten excursions over the Polar regions, to effect Standing at the North Pole and to establish the Italian flag. The expedition is limited to Italians. Pressing requests from three Russian and two Norwegian scientists were refused.
