The attilude of certain Ministers ot the Crown going round the country and speaking derogatively ot certain sections of the people does not show that they feel very certain about tneir posiiion. In a recent interview wth the Master Grocers Association, Mr McLeod passed some remarks wnich interentially showed trial he is not very sympathetic with the ai ns and aspirations of the pruniry producers. He hinted that jealousy was responsible for a great deal of the agitating that was going on among farmers. He said that if a tanner saw a business man doing well and owned two cars the primary producer wanted a board to connoi him. Mr McLeod knows tnat this is not the case. Whai tne farmer wants is a greater measure of immunity from exp'ouatlon than is afforded him just now. It Mr McLeod will not give u to the tarmer someone else will ana that before very long.
