Ever since its inception the “Northland Age” has striven to tender service to the people in the Northland and from time to time has made improvements which could not fail to be of valne to those who have laboured in this remote part ol the Dominion. Some months ago the “Age’ was presented as a twelve page weekly replete with adequate and accurate re. ports of all local gatherings and the doings of our public men. Ihe response ivom the settlers has been such that we have been able to make arrangements which will enable us to take another step iorward. To-day we publish the “Age” as a bi-weekly eight-page newspaper.
