The committee which is backing the sculler, Bert Rarry, in his forthcoming race with Major Goodsell for the world’s title, has c< bled the first £4OO of the stake m ney, the ueposit required by Goodsell. It has also adopted a resolution protesting against tue shortness o. the time allowed by Goodsell for the deposit of the money.
