Offered at Auction Reserve Price Not Reached. (Special to Age) Wellington, ihiis Day. The New Zealand Times buildings were offered at auction yesterday. Bidding started at £50,0110 and went to £65,000, but the buildings were withdrawn !-oti sale owing to the latter price not being within the reserve.
FIRE AT CAMBRIDGE Extensive Damage Done. [Special to Age] Auckland This Day. Damage estimated at £30,000 was done by a disastrous fire which occurred in the centre of the business quarter of Cambridge on Monday evening, aud which continued in the early hours of the morning.
