Control Board’s Report
The following report on prices obtained for kauri gum for the fortnight ending 14th November, 1927, has been supplied by the Kauri Gum Control Board:
White Gum—Rescraped white, 240 sto 2o:)s; % scraped white 150 s; Y\ scraped white, 115 s to 120 s ;■ ordinary superior 100, fair ordinary /us to 755, washed nuts 65s to 70; chips and dust 25s to 40s.
Black Gum —scraped 120 s ; washed steel 75s to 80; light brown 50to 68s; ordinary 34s to 38s; good chips, 245; poor chips, 12s to 17s.
Chalk—Hearty swamp 34s to 40s; good chalk 30s to 32s ; poor chalk 26s to 28s.
