Prices Above Expectations. Comment by Merchants. Due to Continental Demand. Wellington this day. Prices at the Wellington Wool Sales were above local merchants expectations and above the idea of values held by Bradford. Referring to the values realised, Mr R G Anderson, president of the Woolbrokers Association, said wool was in short supply and the lots offered were wanted by the continent where stocks were short. The Bradford Market was New Zealand’s main stay and there was no ground tor holding that the prices would be maintained.
