Most of Passengers Rescued Sixty-eight Missing (Special to Age) Auckland This Day The Italian liner Pfincipessa Mafalda, en route for Rio De Janie#o, foundered one handred and thirty miles south-east of Bahia, Brazil, with 1300 people aboard. Latest messages indicate that over 1100 were rescued by ten other ships. Sixty-eight are missing. It is thought that the vessel struck a reef, and a boiler Explosion followed.
