Labour Day Picnics
Despite the inclement weather conditions which prevailed on Labour Day, a number of people risited Cooper’s Beach. The visitors spent a pleasant d. y, at this pretty spot. Ahipara also received a number of visitors. A cloudy and windy day with a turbulent sea white with loam greeted the party Nevertheless, venturesome swimmers were soon splashing about in the surf, and on the whole, a most enjoyable time was spent.
