An illuminating story, which illustrates the truth of the saying that you snould never offer a friend a substitute tor the article he requires, is told by a gentleman who spent a very happy month some time ago, fishing in the North of Scotland. On the particular day to which the story refers, he had been out on a Highland loch, his companion being the estate-keeper, Mr Sandy Kay.
