Mrs M Ryan of Bonnett’s Road was admitted to the Mangonui Hospital on Monday, for the purpose of undergoing an operation. Mrs Eckford who is visiting her daughter, Mrs A M Shugar, was taken ill on Friday last and the condition became such that after a consultation between Dr Rix and Dr Cameron on Monday afternoon, her removal to the Hospital was ordered. There was an improvement in her condition yesterday. Mr L Keane of Te Paki Station visited Kaitaia during the week. The death took place at Papakura last week ot Mrs Rae. Mrs Rickard of Kaitaia, is a daughter of the deceased lady. Mr Parline, an ardent worker of the 1.0.0. F. was a visitor to Kaitaia during the week. Mrs Elliot is paying a visit to Auckland.
