Mr Lynham who has completed the erection of a bowser for the Northland Ford Service returns to Auckland to-morrow. Messrs Sid Taaffe and Dvsart who spent the week-end in Kaitaia have returned again to Broadwood.

Mr'H Wingate-Mullis, who was recently stationed at Kaitaia in the interests of the Public Works Department, has been appointed vice-president by the Whangarei Swimming Club. Mr. J. H. Bedggood left yesterday on a three weeks holiday to the Bay of Islands and Auckland. Mrs. Wilson of Ohaewai was a visitor to Kaitaia last week-end,

Miss R Kunicich, who has been spending a holiday at Houhora, has returned to Kaitaia. Mr. A. Taaffe visited Kaitaia last week and has left again foi Kaikohe where he is stationed.

Mrs A R Baker, of Remuera, Auckland, is visiting her daughter, Mrs C Smertoo. of Kaiiais. Mr S H Leylaud, a member of the Messrs Leylcnd and O’Brien Timber Coy. is at present staying with Mr A H Long of Kaingaroa. MrLeyland is inspecting some timber cutting rights in th* district named.
