REGISTRATION OF IMMIGRANTS.
The followihg information was urnished to-day by the Registrar if Electors in conaection with he compulsory registration of /lectors for the forthcoming general election. The attention of immigrants is drawn to hat only qualified persons alf eligible. The qualifications arc is follow: —(a) An applicant must be a British subject by birth, or iy naturalisation in New Zealand; b) must not be.less than 21 years rf age at the time of applying ■or registration; and (c) must tave been resident in New Zealand for twelve months at the ime of application, and of the listrict for which he applies for egistration for three months mmediately preceding such regstration.
