These tides are mathematically calculated W the formula of the British Admirafty, and are fer the place of tide at Qaeen Strest Wharf: a difference may be found between them and those naturally produced feom effect ef wlfld9 and currents outside port limits. An easterly wind will retard the tide, and a westerly wind accelerate it, to the ewlent of thirty minutes. These influences must be noted and allowed for when referring to these tide tables.
