NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Kaitaia Town Board held on Thursday, the 23rd day of July, 1925, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of ! the Board to be held on Thursday, the 21 st day of August, 1925, at 12 noon, at the Board’s office : In exercise of the powers con- j ferred on it by Part XLIII of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” the Kaitaia Town Board hereby makes, by way of special j order, a by-law to amend the bylaw of the said Board made and passed on the ninth day of August, 1923, and intituled the “Motors By-Law.” The object. and purport of the proposed by [ law are to amend the “Motors j By-Law” by omitting clause 49 | and substituting in lieu thereof: 49- “No person shall drive a motor on the road between the junction of Church Road and the Main Road and the junction of Commerce Street and Herckino Road at a speed exceeding 15 miles per hour, nor on any road within the Town District at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour, nor around or across any corner, angle or intersection of any road or roads at a speed exceeding 10 miles per hour.” A full copy of this by-law is deposited at the offices of the Kaitaia Town Board, Commerce Street, Kaitaia, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours.
