SUCCESSFUL CONCERT.

As briefly reported in our last issue the concert organised by Miss Nathan in aid of the cottage hospital fund was a great success. That the concert was much enjoyed was evidenced by the succession of encores that ensued. The girls deserve credit for the result obtained. The programme was as follows: Overture, “Tarantelle”—Mrs. Larsen (piano), Mr. H. Timbers (violin). “Dear Old Q. V. G” Girls. “Song of Sleep,” Miss Nathan. “O Blessed Night,” Girls. “I Wish I Knew,” Miss W. Robson. Monologue, “The Woman and the Sphinx,” Miss Nathan. Canoe Poi, Girls. “Sleepy Zuyder Zee,” Miss A. Murray. Maori Ditties, Girls. “Maori Moon,” Miss Q Robson. “L. Extase” (encore) “Butterfly,” Mrs. Larsen, and Mr. Timbers “Aloha Sunset Land,” (girls in Hawaiian costume). “Underneath the Mellow Moon,” Miss J. Johnson. “In a Garden,” Girls. Maori Song, “E pari ra,” (encore) “Hoki Hoki Tonu Mai,” Miss Nathan. Sketch, “The Notorious Miss Dynamite”. Single Poi, Girls. “Au revoir Honolulu,” Girls. “Gliding Through the Meadow,” Girls. The accompanists were Mrs. Larsen, Miss Nathan and the Pukepoto Orchestra under the baton of Mr. J. Robson. After the concert a dance was held, the music being supplied by Miss Nathan, and extras played by the Pukepoto Orchestra.
