ACCIDENT.
Recently a Maori boy named J. Peta, on the property of L. Masters, Pukepoto, met with a painful accident. The young fellow was out hare shooting, and had secured one.
By some means—it is supposed as he was pulling the weapon after him—his gun went off, shooting away the muscle of the arm, and exposing the bone. The sufferer was taken to the Mangonui Hospital.
