BASKET SOCIAL AT AHIPARA. ♦ A very successful Basket Social, proceeds in aid of the Maori Queen, was held at Ahipara last week. The attendance was good, and everything passed off very well, the baskets selling well. Several good prizes were given by Mr J. N. Berghan and others. The gross proceeds were ±.63/15,-, and as the expenses were small, it is anticipated that the fund will benefit by £oO at least.
