I Mails close for the undermentioned places as follows: — Monday, I p.m.—Kaingaroa and Waipapakaun. 4 p.m., Kaitaia, Maugonui, Auckland and district. Tuesday—Auckland, according to departure of s.s. Apanui. Wednesday, 1 p.m. —Kaingaroa and Waipapakauri. 4 p.m., Kaitaia, Mangonui, Auckland and district. Thursday, 4 p.m.—Kaitaia and Mangonui. Friday, 10 a.m.—Waipapakauri and Kaiangaroa.
Saturday:—Nil. Mails for Auckland per s.s. Apanui will close as follows During the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., half an hour before advertised time Of departure. When the steamer is advertised to sail between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 a.m., the mail will close at 5 p.m. A supplementary mail for Auckland to connect with steamer Clansman will close at this office on Thursdays at 3.30 p.m., weather and other circumstances permitting.
