THOMPSON, Esq., Victoria Valley Sir—On behalf of the Natives of Peria I wish to voice to the Europeans of your district our appreciation for the steps you have taken in consoling the afflcted caused by advent of the Influenza among our brethren residing in your district, and also at Pamapuria and surroonding Kaiangas. Had it not been for your prompt action in taking the matter in hand, we do believe the whole Native population of this County would have suffered greatly, and perhaps leaving a great burden to the Dominion.
